How does Vanadium Carbide VC Powder get made?

1.Complete the Vanadium dioxide and the carbon powder. Carbonized vanadium must be made under very high vacuum conditions.

2.Pure VC may be obtained by the gas phase reaction method. You can make pure VC from hydrogen-containing tetrachloride (VCl4 vapor) and hydrocarbon gases (methane or benzene). It is attached to a tungsten-wire directly and heated to heat. To prevent the formation of metal vanadium in the initial stages of the reaction, the temperature at which the tungsten is heated must not exceed 1400°C. It is then heated to 2000°C to finish the carbonization process. It is gray-white crystalline when the tungsten steel has precipitated.
