Tungsten – nickel-iron alloy’s characteristics include high sintering density and good strength. It exhibits good plasticity, machinability, thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity, as well as excellent absorption of -rays/X-rays.

Applications:
Tungsten/nickel-iron alloy, which is the main tungsten alloy with the highest amount of production, is widely used. The sintered alloys can be used directly for common applications like counterweights and radiation shielding device counterweights. For applications that require high mechanical properties, however, the tungsten–nickel–iron alloys need to undergo deformation processing as well as heat treatment in order to increase their strength.
